how many families?

Hi all

If you use 12 breeding pairs how many related pairs would you use? I have 8 related cocks and hens and am unsure weather to keep hens to put to other cocks later in the year or just pair them up so that their chicks will be cousins?

any suggestions;)

I Use 12 Pairs And On The First Pair Up 6 Of The Pairs Will Be My Main Family The Next 4 Will Be A New Family I An Trying The Last 2 Will Be For Out Crosses By Only Using 6 Paires It Means I Am Only Using The Best From My Main Family
