All 5 infertile

One of my pairs had 5 eggs (1st round), they were due to start hatching on Sunday... but nothing. Today I decided to candle them all and unfortuneately they were all infertile. I have now removed them from the nest box. So disapointing!

I have also trimmed the cock's vent feathers. Will the Hen start to mate again and lay again or should I put them back in the aviary or swap the Cock?

How old is the cock, have you bred him before?

Did you trim the hens feathers?

The cock has a red 2006 ring and I have not bred him before, I've just started breeding.

No I haven't trimmed the hens vent feathers.

Try trimming the vents feather, make sure your perches are secure, make sure there both in condition.

Hopefully have some full eggs
