Hi,
I have a pair of budgies down on eggs they have been on the first egg for 8 days and the second for 6, i went to candle them this morning and there in no signs of life in either (no viens nothing) do you think these are clear eggs?

I would like to know as i don't want to waste the hens time and anyway i have another pair i would like to put in there.

Hi,
Thanks for that barrie, i'll give it a few more days and see. But as well i'll keep a closer eye out for mating behaviour.

once the fourth egg is laid the first should show full,if empty remove it and the hen will lay again to relace it,you must number your eggs .
