I think it has to be budgies! I mean, vultures would be scary to look at even if they were being cheerful. Not that anyone seems to want to enter this competition!

What is the theme for this competition anyways ? I'm sure Lorna & I were joking about our wounds & being eaten a live.
Someone pick something interesting & fun for the month of December. Maybe a Christmas theme ? Budgies with Christmas Decorations or something ?

You could have budgies pulling a sleigh instead of reindeer at least the Joey ones wont get stuck in the chimney
You could get then snogging under the mistletoe
You could get a Pic of a budge setting light to the xmas pud with the caption this is better that egg food & veg

Spicky, All very funny shots...think I like the 1st one with the gift dish best! But I must say that after the stare down is finished..that budgie is gonna wipe that wrapping out! Not going to wait for Christmas that one!

on photobucket, if you have a photo in a certain album, how do you get that photo into another album AND still have it the original album? (without it deleting it from the album you are taking it from)?
is there a way to do it?
you can edit any photo and save a copy so it does not affect the original Sarah, then you can put the copy anywhere you like.
Keri, I had no idea Photobucket could do that. I'll have to squirrel away some time to learn new 'tricksies' I will...

We've been trying to work out who should be judging this extraordinarily brilliant competition and being as NickNack (who suggested the idea) can't because he's entered and I (who started the thread!) can't because I can't guarantee I'm going to be available enough to keep tabs on all the excitement over the next week or two, popular acclaim is hoping that DIANA will take up the gauntlet and cast her expert eye over the entries.
What d'you reckon, Diana?

It's easy to do Diana ... you pick 3 winners. 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners. You make a post on this thread & announce who the winners are at the end of the month after you chose. If you can .... you can also post the pictures that won with their Members names for us all to see.
When you have chosen your winners ... PM Scott & advise him who the Member is of the December Christmas Theme Competition & who has won the first place prize, Scott can send them their ribbon or rosette.
Only the 1st place winner will receive a Ribbon or Rosette from Scott. 2nd & 3rd place winners have an Honorable mention !
Good luck Diana ! You will do a great job & have fun with it also.

Ok folks, it's that moment you have all been waiting for....................
I have chosen the winner of this month's competition. It was so hard, there were so many excellent entries and at one point I had picked seven entries that I really loved. Eventually I asked a couple of friends to look through my final seven and they both agreed with me that the winner should be (dun dun da dun da da dun!!!!!!!!!!!)
Spicky Davis for her stunning entry of the 5 budgies sitting on top of their cage, each with a pressie. It was so cute and so carefully and painstakingly prepared and we all felt that it would be a brilliant card for the Budgie Association to sell to raise funds or something.
I am so sorry, but I am so stupid that I cannot copy the winning entry and post it here, but I am sure that you all know which one I mean. Maybe someone will copy and post it for me.
In second place is Joanneg1980 for her lovely little pic with the caption saying something about Santa has been. My friends and I thought it was so sweet and the budgies looked gorgeous.
In third place is Nick Nack with the absolutely charming pic of his three birds inside the wreath. It was so simple, but so Christmassy and innocent it almost made my heart melt.
Well done all of you and thank you for letting me judge this month's competition. I so enjoyed the honour.
Now I must pm Scott with the results.

She wasn't gonna eat them jammies Rose ... pay attention here, she was gonna wear them to keep warm in the icy cold winter of Lesvos. And when the feet sock parts got too warm she could wrap up a budgie or two in one. But ... she didn't play the way we paid her to make the competition in our favor. SO I WANT THEM JAMMIES BACK !
