They are some good looking birds there klaus, the one in the first pic has to be the best for me, he sits so proud on that perch the others seem to slouch, good luck with them, have you tried spotting out yet?

not de spotted any yet mate but local breeder up the road is going to pop down he said to de-spot my birds when there ready to show hows your breeding going on i paired up the birds im breeding from on the 10/4/09 all seems to be going well all the hens are in and out of the nestbox going to leave them for 4 weeks see what happens hopefuly they will lay and rear some young for me my bs rings arrived this morning i ordered 20 didnt wont to order to many as only got down 3 pairs and i thought 40 would be to many all the best kb

Yeah got a chick, had problems with inflated crops and inexperienced hens, but seems to be sorted, have just rung my first chick of 09 so all going well i am happy with just the one at the moment:D

And i have another pair on eggs which are due to start hatching on the 18th so not long to wait:D

And then i have two pairs which are showing signs and are in and out of the boxes.

thanks pal she stands lovely in the show cage i put her in there for 10 minutes twice a day she starting to settle now and can move her from perch to perch so looking good i be happy with just showing her anythink else is a bonus but would be over the moon if i win with her or even 2nd i be over the moon all the best kb

Personally i would breed as much out of her as possible and then think about showing her, even if you got a round out of her now you could still show her at the latter shows August/September

Good on you , that hen is too good not to be breed , she should breed you some good birds mate
