We're after a bird to be a companion to our existing budgie who seems pretty lonely (we're out all day..). We currently have a male so a male (pref young) is better.
I've had a hunt round and haven't found anyone in the nearby area. I don't drive but can beg a lift if its a short run.
Anyone able to help?
Thanks

Anyone?
I've tried 1aviary & budgerigarbreeders sites to no avail. Luckily, our pet shop is good but still, I'd like to be able to buy from a breeder... Thanks

I don't know anywhere else-I'd help but have no baby boy budgies left for sale all are reserved-plus that I don't even know how far away from Barnsley you are.If you cannot find a breeder as long as the petshop is clean and the budgies are happy, clean and alert you should be fine.Make sure you choose a young bird with bars/lines all way down to his cere and black eyes(no white around the pupil)and you should be OK

I wish you lived just up the road from me Barry, I could do with some nice birds. Can you move please. I really would consider coming up there by train but i don't know how birds would travel. wish there was a company that would safely transport birds.
