I ordered a stuffed toy budgie off EBay for a friend's new baby (called Ian!) and it's just arrived - it's fantastic!

Heehee, me too spicky! I was a bit dubious about looking at the thread so was pretty relieved when i saw wooly budgies! Still prefer the real things though:D

Are they made by Hansa?
I was going to get one but got a fox instead, all their soft toys are cool :)

Just checked the E-Bay listing (the budgie is winging his way to the States) and yes it is Hansa, Claire. I thought, any newborn baby has got to have a budgie (especially if he's called Ian), but this one really looked a lot better than I expected it would! :)

Approximately 5.5 inches tall, it says in the write-up.

Just looked at my PayPal receipt and realised it was actually under ten quid - £9.20 to be precise.
