i dont know what your take will b on this but i have came across a few budgie forums which include places where the members can make and play games.
i was wandering whether u would consider making one of these

I've just noticed that there are many more grown ups on this site than the other ones with games on them. maybe not such a good idea after all??

I have a few games on my comp and some bookmarks to game website that I play when I am bored, not something that would really be integrated into budgie forum though Joe.

no prob. as i've said i have seen other budgie forums with games on them but there seems to be more young members on those ones that would maybe be more interested in that sort of thing :)

Games arent really my cup of tea either, I know some people enjoy them and others use them to clock up post counts :rolleyes: I cant really see the need on a budgie forum to be honest. But if the majority want games I have no problems with it at all, I just choose whether I want to join in or not, depending on the mood Im in :)

Yes there are games going on in the forums. The five word story. I put out a riddle. There's plenty here to learn and share ideas. And also to commune in the Lounge, or play the five word game. Nothing fancy.

I'm really not into video games. Did you know that I got paid to play video games on test units at my job? I hated it! But most of my colleagues loved it. :) I much prefer debugging a problem and doing the real work instead.

i know most people who have replied to this thread haven't really liked the idea of games on the forum.
however, if you look at the number of views and replies of threads like five word story you realise that many people on the forum are fans of the games.
i have accepted that there should not be a dedicated part for games (post count etc.) but its good when someone does post a wee game once in a while. thanks for your replies on this subject :)
