Help, please!

I fear my last Budgie is dying as I type. Please help. Arrived home to unusual chatter from his cage and found him circling constantly on the cage floor. Would flutter up to a perch at times just to drop to bottom again and begin the circling. Appears to have weakness on one side and as I hold him, his head is drawing to that side. He is not a friendly budgie, but is allowing me to hold him now. I fear too weak to bite. Does not stop chattering and when placed back in cage, thrashes in the circle movement almost uncontrollably.
Please tell me if anything I can do. Thank you

Obviously the best thing to do would be to take him to a vet... how far away are you from one?

Yes, take him to a vet. Tell us how he is. That is all the advice I can give you besides keeping a very close eye on him and be there for comfort. Goodluck!

This definitely sounds like a trip to the vet is in order. I don't know if you're this lucky, but where I live most vets will talk with you on the phone to try to get an idea about whether a visit is needed. It's worth a call, for sure. The best of luck to you and please keep us posted.
