after my chicks grow up i was wondering if i can breed the chicks like for example if i get 2 males 2 females can i breed my own chicks

Not if they have the same parents-you could end up with weak,deformed babies-pretty much the same as us really-your much better off buying in some new stock to breed with yours.

Thats true , but some strange mutations have been recorded with such matings.

I agree with MummyL about the brother and sister bit. Although a brother can be paired to a sister from different hatchings, i still would not go this route if i can do otherwise.
However, you can put a son back to his mother and a daughter to the father if you want to, for colour/type purposes, reasonably safely, although i would only use this as a last resort.

have 2 pairs and use a male off one pair and a female off another

I wonder how they manage in the wild-I have a brother and sister in the aviary-about 5 months old-and they sit and feed each other all day-hope they dont "get it on"while I'm not looking.I found an egg on the floor of the aviary-only 1 though-that was about 5days ago-dont know who laid it or why-all the birds are under 8mths old that are outside at the moment.
