hi guys i was wondering if any of the uk members have imported birds from denmark germany etc the reason for asking is i would be interested in the logistics of this.is there a recognised method whats the paperwork requirements cost etc etc

When we went Mannes, A few lads just brought them back

and they also do that from switzerland,i remember when it was illegal to take birds into northern ireland the boys use to just drive onto the ferry with the birds in the boot,and some of mine also went by fishing boat,i heard after the event.

my neighbor who used to be in racing pigeons told me about the boats to northern ireland they used to send the irish rings over put them on uk pigeons then ship the birds over with irish rings on so it looked like they were irish bred...crafty sods
i did wonder about driving over but from down here in cornwall its a bit of a logistical nightmare takes about an hour and a half to get ouy of the darn county lol

Seen Daniel Lutolf's birds on his website & the way he has tamed them he must sleep with them. Between him & Mannes & your own intervention no wonder your on top Barrie
