Seems like a really cool bird. So sorry for your loss. Who is the other budgie?

She was very cool. She came from a grotty little pet shop where she recieved no human contact and lived in a horrible little cage with no toys or anything. She tamed with in a few hours and was always very loving, she'd give me little kisses all the time and loved Sid to bits. Sid was the crazy one and she was the calm one. She will be severly missed, but at least her short little life was mainly a good one, she was fairly spoilt.

Sid is coping much better than i am! I think he does understand where she is, and is sitting on her favourite perch singing to her, wherever she is :)

I miss her terribly and wish she could come back :( It was such a shock and so quick. She was my first budgie and I only had her around 4 months but i couldn't of asked for a more beautiful and loving budgie. I'm going to get Sid a new friend because i can't stand seeing him on his own, but probably another male because it would feel too much like i am replacing my little Mima otherwise.

hi Tacey sorry to hear about jem, i just got my danny after a year birdless i saw him in the pet shop while i was getting dog food & had to take him home, he's so different to bobo she was quite bossy & he's a softy at least i think its a he lol

I'm sure Sid would appreciate a male friend. I know my two boys are inseparable. They love each other, and Jack was alone for at least 18 months. It took a while, but they're best of buds now.
