big green has flown to pastures greener.

he had been battling sickness i think was a crop infection, trip to the vets was a waste of time.

Hi Gar sorry about your loss, what happened exactly at the vets?

Gar
27-12-2007, 07:37 PM
hi dean, vet was as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike, asked him to do a crop test wouldn't said he was a good weight and it would pass. gave me an antibiotibic, but it was just a general antibiotic nothing specific. unfortunatley dean i have no avian vet near me, nearest one is in wicklow and i couldn't make it to her unfortunatley

KiwiinSpain

Hmm and if you demanded he did a test? I guess i would of got angry if he refused because after all who´s paying? Not to mention it would have put my concience to rest even if it was a waste of time.
Anyway it´s no use crying over spilt milk. I just wish you luck with the rest of your flock.

Gar
27-12-2007, 08:00 PM
i just wish i could get stuff like that to have to hand it would be a lot easier. thanks dean rest of the flock are good and i have started the back garden today so the new birdroon is one step closer :)

In that case, you should try Jameson, from Midleton where I live (well close by, anyway):
