Yet Another newbie

Hi all another newbie here
Dont have a budgie at the mommet as we are still looking for him as he went AWOL on saturday
what a crap weekend we had:( !! The dog attacked the letterbox knocking two teeth of his mouth Blood everywhere found a tooth on the door mat one was sticking out of the gum at a funny angle
As the wife was about to take him to the vets the budgie flew straight past her out the front door up and over the house and we have not seen him since :(
then to top it all the dishwasher packed up on sunday :( and i had to buy a new one ....

Ouch Dave, that's a weekend to forget!

I just had a £300 vet's bill for my beareded collie, heart problem so recommended to go and get it fully checked out, sore one.

Hope you get some joy with the missing budgie, was it a hand tame budgie?
i.e. would anyone have much chance of getting close if they did see it.

The budgie was very hand tame and a very good talker im hoping he has landed on someone as he used to sit on our shoulder as we walked about about the house, upstairs too
my daughter said that we should have taught him our telephone number before we lost him.(why didnt we think of that )

sorry for your loss.hope you get him back...hope the dogs ok.i did the same with our letter box but i only lost one tooth. (i think i was a jack russel in a previous life)lol.i fell over the rug .

today we got a new budgie named Barry.he is a unusual colour,grey green chest with a yellow head and has blue patches.Were all very pleased with barry and he seems to have settled in well.
