While handling my most untame bird today.. he figieded the wrong way.. it doesnt seem to bother him, but i think one of his front toes is broken.. it isnt screeching in pain he is walking around just fine.. but it looks like it broken.. it is hooked over the other toe in the front.. not digging into it just over the other toe.. and he isnt moving it, but he is flying around and walking around.. should i just watch him to make sure he isnt in pain. and is there a way to fix this or will he fix it..

I'm sure it will be fine-just keep an eye on him for the next few days.

Eddie broke her toe once. All i could do was keep her cage bound for the first 2 weeks while it held back in place & only let her out for a quick wing stretch for the third week. It healed rather quick, but stayed bruied for a month or so. Unless he's witholding it from use I shouldnt worry too much.

Just try to keep him still in his cage as much as you can for the first fortnight while it resets

We have a few budgies, who now and then, break their toes in the big Avaries. In alot of the cases we don't even notice until we catch them and place them in a small cage.
Really there isn't much you can do for broken toes, just like in humans, you just have to let nature take its course. Sometimes the broken toes will forever be bent or out straight but despite this they get on with their everyday life and continue to be their happy bouncy selves, even with breeding.....
