    Hello all,as some of you may know, im in the process of building my 1st avairy for breeding budgies.

    Could anyone please give me A bit of info on how often budgies lay eggs and hatch, and also, what is the best way to get your budgie "into breeding mood"

    Any helkp would be appreciated, thanks xx

    Most hens will lay an egg every 25 hours or so...It takes about 18 days to incubate...

    There are many sites to answer your questions. The sites are full of detail, too much to mention here. Also, a good book is a good tool to get you started...

    please get plenty of good books and advice before breeding, its a trying time for new breeders and birds, so be very prepared. books are beneficial as you can look over them quickly in a time of need.
