Comfort for orphan chicks.
Mama birds not only provide their babies with food, but a comforting, snuggly presence as well. The Lonely Sock Buddy provides comfort and warmth to babies away from their mothers.
Ingredients:
- Two clean socks from your Lonely Sock Drawer.
- Sock 1: long, no holes, natural fibers such as cotton or wool. Fuzzy lining is a plus. Men's sweat sock works well.
- Any other sock
These are washable and should be changed frequently to prevent buildup of germs in the incubator.
Make as many as you have lonely socks for, to keep up a ready supply.
